August 7, 2021

Due to the concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), and the government’s guidelines around public gatherings, we have made the decision to switch the 2020 RBC Race For the Kids to a Virtual Race. This decision was not taken lightly, but our priority lies with the safety of our running community, including all of our participants, volunteers, and those who put on the events.

So what now?

We have converted all registered participants to virtual runners and are going to ship your t-shirt and finisher medal direct to your door in early August. You will also receive a partial credit towards next year's race based on your currently registered race distance: $20 - 13.1/10mile/Relay, $10 - 8K/5K, $5 - Kids. This credit will be emailed to you when registration opens.

Guidelines for the Virtual Goldy's Run

  • Go the distance and keep your distance. We recommend that you run solo while maintaining a distance of six feet or more while near other people. Be safe.

  • Results are based on the honor system, please report accurately.

  • Log your time with a watch or GPS tracker, whatever is best for you. Runkeeper is an app that can be downloaded to your phone.

  • Upload and view results here between August 1 and October 31st.

  • Make sure your mailing address for your shirt and medal is up to date, follow these instructions before August 1:

  • Visit your participant dashboard and sign in to your Race Roster account using the same email you registered with.

  • Click “Edit Registration” on the right.

  • Update your information as needed.

  • Click “Save & Exit” to submit your change.

Continue to help us raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Upper Midwest. We have currently raised over $75,000 from participants and sponsors. All donations will support keeping families together during a child's health crisis by providing a caring home away from home.

The process is simple:

1. Create your fundraising page from your race roster dashboard. Select "edit page" next to fundraising.

2. Invite friends and family to contribute on social media
